The Brief
A premium bilingual marketing site for a Reynaers-partner window, façade and door company in Ulaanbaatar — built to feel as engineered as the curtain walls it sells.
Ilchit Tsamhag clads Mongolia's landmark towers in glass, but had no website to match — and a sharply defined brand (navy-dominant, green reserved for sustainability, hard 90° corners) that left little room to hide behind templates.
What We Did
We built a from-scratch static site in Astro — fast, bilingual (Mongolian-primary with English), and Netlify-ready with no backend to maintain. Before committing to one look, we explored the homepage as nine distinct design directions, each a complete reskin of the same shared shell.
The client chose “Grove” — navy and engineered, with green held back for the sustainability story. It is now live at ilch.mn: Mongolian-first, with real project work (UB Tower, Steppe Arena, ECO-25) and Reynaers system references throughout.
- Nine full homepage directions explored before landing on one
- Static Astro build — fast, secure, nothing to patch or break
- Bilingual by design: Mongolian-primary (/) with English (/en/)
- Brand system honored: navy-dominant, green reserved for sustainability, hard 90° corners
- Self-hosted fonts with full Cyrillic coverage (Mongolian is primary)
Nine directions, one home
Before the client picked a direction, we designed the homepage nine different ways — each its own palette, type and mood. The chosen design is live; the rest are preserved as browsable concepts.

“Grove” — the chosen direction, navy and engineered, now live at ilch.mn.
